The Evaluation Board is designed to be used in combination with TTTech Industrial’s Edge IP Solution, providing a stable hardware platform for integration and evaluation of TSN Ethernet functionality. An Edge IP Solution reference design offers a ready to use software environment for the for Evaluation Board.
Standards support
The Evaluation Board in combination with Edge IP Solution supports the core TSN mechanisms of time synchronization (IEEE 802.1AS) and traffic scheduling (IEEE 802.1Qbv) as well as other mechanisms such as frame preemption (IEEE 802.1Qbu) and cut-through.
Network scheduling
TTTech Industrial Slate XNS software integrates the Evaluation Board for building topologies, creating schedules and deploying configurations for TSN networks. TTTech Industrial’s high performance scheduling engine is built in to the Slate XNS software for scheduling of IEEE 802.1Qbv and QoS data streams.
