The European research project Change2Twin supports manufacturing SMEs in their digitalization process by providing digital twin solutions. Digital twins are game changers for manufacturing companies, providing the basis for more effective business decisions. Digital twins allow the set-up of virtualized production processes where companies can test what works best for them before physically producing anything.
TTTech Industrial contributes with Nerve, which is used to collect real-time data from the machine or industrial line. Nerve will be also be implemented in several pilots, showing its capability to support Digital Twin deployment.
“With our Nerve product line, we make it easy for manufacturers to start their industrial IoT journey. In future, Digital Twins are going to change production and speed up industrial digitalization and with Nerve, we can support this trend,” says Thomas Berndorfer, Member of the Executive Board at TTTech Industrial.
The Change2Twin project has also launched its first Open Call in January, offering a voucher worth up to 10,000€ to successful applicants (SMEs and midcaps from the EU and associated countries) that can be exchanged for a thorough assessment and three “recipes for implementation” by one of the Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) certified by the European Commission. The Call is open until March 29, 2021.
