IIoT solutions for machine builders and extended partner ecosystem

In December 2020, TTTech Industrial’s open edge computing platform Nerve became the first commercial implementation of Linux Foundation’s ACRN™ on the industrial market. Now, TTTech Industrial has integrated the latest release of the open hypervisor, ACRN™ 2.6, as well as Intel® Time Coordinated Computing (Intel® TCC) into Nerve, further improving hard real-time virtualization for edge computing.

TTTech Industrial presents a digital twin application example for industrial use cases together with Microsoft. This application example was created as part of a practical test of the Platform Industry 4.0 and uses TTTech Industrial’s edge computing platform Nerve and the Microsoft Azure Digital Twins service.

TTTech Industrial’s open and flexible edge computing platform Nerve consists of node software that runs on devices at the edge, as well as a management system that runs in the cloud or on a local server. Nerve’s features have been combined into feature sets to create four separate modules. These can be licensed individually or in combination, so customers can choose the package that best fits their use cases and budget.

TTTech Industrial Automation AG announces that it has acquired core technology and strategic customers from Nebbiolo Technologies in a deal closed in May and founded a US subsidiary in Silicon Valley to expand its activities in the North American market. Kannan Devarajan, one of the co-founders of Nebbiolo Technologies has joined TTTech Industrial North America Inc. as Managing Director.

In January, TTTech received the “Living Standards Award”, the most significant Austrian prize for standardization and innovation. The award honors TTTech’s standardization efforts in the IEEE, particularly in the area of TSN (Time Sensitive Networking).

IoT Solutions provider TTTech Industrial today is launching the first commercial product based on the Linux Foundation’s ACRNTM hypervisor for the industrial market. With the latest release of its Nerve industrial edge computing platform, TTTech Industrial is making ACRN 2.0 available to customers in a commercial, fully supported software solution that runs on Intel industrial processors.
